Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account info— your name and email address
• Conversation content— the reflections, check-in responses, values, goals, and messages you share with the app
• Usage analytics— anonymous events such as screens visited and features used, via PostHog
• Crash and error data— technical metadata about app crashes and errors, via Sentry. Conversation content is not sent to Sentry.
• Subscription data— purchase, renewal, and entitlement state for Verosity Premium, managed through RevenueCat and the Apple App Store

• Automatic location data (if you provide a location in Settings, it is used solely for weather context via the Open-Meteo weather API)
• Contacts
• Payment card or banking information (payment is handled entirely by the Apple App Store; we never see your card details)
• Health records
• Data from other apps on your device

• Personalization— your reflections, values, and preferences are used to generate the personalized suggestions, check-in questions, and insights that are the core of the app
• App functionality— your account info lets you sign in, your subscription state unlocks paid features, and your email is used for daily reminder emails if you opt in
• Analytics and reliability — anonymous usage events and crash reports help us find bugs and improve the experience. We do not use this data to build advertising profiles.

• We do not sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
• We do not use your data for advertising of any kind.
• We do not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not allow third parties to do so through Verosity.

• Anthropic (Claude)— processes your messages to generate AI conversations and insights. Per Anthropic's API terms, data sent through their API is not used for model training.
• xAI (Grok)— used for background utility processing. Per xAI's API terms, user inputs and outputs are not used for training any models and are automatically deleted within 30 days.
• Supabase— stores your account and conversation data. All data is encrypted at rest, and row-level security ensures you can only access your own data.
• RevenueCat— manages your Verosity Premium subscription state (purchase, renewal, entitlements) in coordination with the Apple App Store. Receives a user identifier and subscription events. Does not receive your conversation content.
• PostHog— product analytics. Receives anonymous usage events (for example, “user started a conversation”). Does not receive conversation content, names, or email addresses.
• Sentry— crash and error reporting. Receives technical metadata about errors. Does not receive conversation content.
• Resend— email delivery for transactional and opt-in daily emails.
• Vercel— app hosting.
• Open-Meteo— weather data, only if you provide a location.

• Delete your account at any time — open the Settings page inside the app and use the Delete Account option. This permanently removes your account, all conversations, all reflections, and every other record associated with you.
• Conversations are retained for 180 days, after which they are automatically deleted
• Conversation summaries are retained longer to maintain your personalized profile
• Abandoned conversations with no activity are deleted after 7 days
• Server logs may temporarily contain request metadata for debugging and error tracking. We do not log conversation content in server logs. Logs are retained for a limited period and automatically deleted.

• You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Settings page
• You can export your data by emailing info@verosity.ai
• You can opt out of emails at any time in Settings
